Plant Magic Club: A Multi-Sensory Herb Study of Hawthorn

Welcome to the Plant Magic Club- a monthly multisensory experience that dives deep into the lore, energetic and use of different sacred plants. This month's plant is Hawthorn- a plant renowned for it's heart opening and protective traits.

This class includes time to touch and connect with the energy of the plant. We will then make a craft non-alcoholic cocktail using the plant. Finally, we will artistically connect with plant with a painting session while sipping our cocktails! All supplies will be provided.

Cacao will be available for purchase 6:00-6:30 before the event starts.

Meet your hosts:

Grace Mestecky is a non-alcoholic mixologist and student of Ayurveda. She has almost a decade of experience behind the bar in craft cocktail making, and is one of the top mixologists for non-alcoholic cocktails in the United States. She has been a lifelong student of Mother Earth and her plants, and she is excited to share her knowledge with Plant Magic Club.

Kayla McFerrin is a visual artist creating glass, photo, video, digital, gouache, watercolor, acrylic, and textile art. Nature, plants, and patterns are one of her favorite subjects. She is excited to provide the Plant Magic Club with unique ways to deepen their understanding of medicinal plants through art!
