Pirita Tuisku & Thabo Mokolobate | Measure of Beauty | Residency Sharing

On the final day of their residency forcontinued R&D on their project Beautiful Chaos, Pirita and Thabo will host a sharing of work developed during their residency week.

The Measure of Beauty is a research and development (work in progress) project that explores the impact of global beauty standards on body image and mental health.
In the initial R&D stage, collaborators Pirita and Thabo combined poetry, movement, and visual installation to present an immersive, multidisciplinary experience. They are now entering the second stage of development, where they will be exploring deeper ways to foster human connection, with a continued focus on body image, mental health, and the pressures of societal ideals.

The performance will last approximately 45 minutes and be followed by a 15 minute discussion.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be reference to self harm and eating disorders.
