Picnic Island Paddle

Join us for an educational paddle from Sanibel Island to Picnic Island! We'll launch near the boat ramp and paddle through the beautiful waters of Southwest Florida’s estuary before beaching our boats on the island. Once ashore, we’ll grab our nets and explore the surrounding seagrass beds to discover the fascinating fish, crabs, shrimp, and other unique wildlife that call this ecosystem home. Along the way, we’ll learn why seagrass habitats matter and the vital role they play in keeping coastal waters healthy.
