Pichwai workshop / classes/ sessions in Singapore

Immerse yourself in the beautiful art of Pichwai painting with this hands-on workshop in Singapore under my tutelage ! Pichwai is a traditional Indian art form known for its intricate designs and depictions of Lord Krishna and nature. Whether you're a beginner or an art enthusiast, this workshop will guide you through creating your own Pichwai-inspired artwork.

W hen : The course starts from 7th October 2024 (TBC). You can choose your days as I teach on every Monday/Tuesdays/Wednesday/Thursdays/Saturday and Sunday.

Time: 9:30 am – 11:30 am (tentatively)

Fees: $40 per session

Pichwai Art :

It is a traditional art form that originated over 400 years ago in Nathdwara in Rajasthan. Pichwai paintings are known for their detailed depiction of Lord Krishna, specially his life around Nathdwara and are characterized by rich colour, elaborate details and devotional themes.

About the artist :

Shalini Gupta, is a proficient artist, trained in India. She has exhibited and sold her paintings worldwide. She has in her portfolio about 100 paintings, which have been highly acclaimed. She teaches Tanjore art, Pichwai art, Indian Miniatures, Kerala mural paintings on an ongoing basis in singapore.
