A beautiful day retreat of yoga, meditation, sauna, sea dips, humming & Pianobath

THE INTENTION: Forgiveness

THE SCHEDULE

10.00 - arrive

10.10 - strawberry tea, intros and intention setting

10.30 - gentle yoga (hatha) and stretching

11.15 - gentle breathwork

11.30 - Pianobath guided meditation

12.00 - Sauna - relax to the scent of eucalyptus. Quiet sauna time and humming session to aid detox and relaxation. Access to Cold Pod (cold water dipping) or the sea - just 3 mins away. Zen relaxation area in the garden, outside and inside showers.

1.00 - Lunch - please bring your own. Use of kitchen, Peartree Well water and herbal teas provided.

1.20 - Pianobath (see below)

2.20 - Humming Circle

2.40 - Herbal teas and option to share

3.00 - End of retreat

ABOUT PENNY

Penny is an experienced composer, singer, pianist, and has been running Pianobath since 2021. She runs home events, outdoor events in the summer, and plays at Labyrinth events at Shoreham's Church of the Good Shepherd, as well as Brighton Macmillan Centre. She is a qualified yoga teacher, life coach and reiki practitioner. Her home is a haven of peace and zen loveliness, and her approach is down to earth and caring. This retreat is for women only, max 3 spaces, so your time here is both spacious and relaxing.

PIANOBATH

Sink back into a sofa or beanbag, or relax on your yoga mat. Feel yourself escape into the serene sounds of a Pianobath.... beautiful, melodic, simple piano and seamlessly blended, hypnotic, chantlike vocals (melisma singing), low lighting, candles, surround sound. There's absolutely nothing to do, simply take this chance to relax and fully let go...

Penny's therapeutic Pianobath is designed to empower and uplift women. Music is a powerful way of healing trauma, upset or simply promoting great health and wellbeing, by allowing us to tap into self-compassion and to hear our inner wisdom. Each retreat, Penny works with an intention to amplify healing during the humming sessions.

The Pianobath testimonials (see website) so far have been incredible. People experience anything from deep rest to total serenity by the end. Many experience deep sleep and long-lasting feelings of calm, and even lessening of body pain/symptoms in the period following a Pianobath. Combined with the yoga, meditation, sauna and humming this promises to be a calming and deeply restorative day.

Pianobath events, day retreats and Online

IMPORTANT INFO

Arrival time – please arrive at 10am or just after. Do call Penny on 0788 1915593 if you're running late. There is plenty of free parking very nearby and one space on the drive.

Seating/mats – For the yoga, thick mats are provided but feel free to bring your own. For the Pianobath, we have yoga mats here and plenty of blankets, but feel free to bring your own mat, blanket, cushion, eye cover or whatever will make you more cosy. Penny will ensure the space is cosy and warm. If you'd prefer a seat, there's a choice of a large, comfy sofa, 2 beanbags or upright chair. Email Penny in advance if you have a particular need.

Confirmation emails – if you don't receive one after booking tickets please let us know on [email protected] as there is important information, including the address, access to the address, cut off time for arrival etc. No ticket needed, as we are a small group. Checklist and reminder sent the day before the event.

Refunds & transfers – We are so sorry but we cannot offer refunds because of the very small numbers at the day retreat (max 3 women), and we may not be able to fill your space last minute. If we can fill the space with the waiting list, of course you'll receive a full refund. If you cannot attend in person and would like to transfer your ticket to a female friend, please do so but do contact Penny about this as she'll need a contact email and phone number for the new participant. Thank you for understanding!
