Photowalk: Pike Place Market for the Holidays!

OVERVIEW

'tis the season for frivolity and fun photographic opportunities. During this photowalk, we will capture Pike Place Market and the nearby area in the early evening.

We will wander around the market and Overlook Walk. This is a slower excursion, as we will be taking some time to use tripods and explore slower shutter speed techniques.

Kate will share camera settings to help you capture light trails, as well as highlight some of her fave compositions within the market.

WHERE TO MEET

102 Pike Street, Across the street from the main entranace of Pike Place Market, at 1st And Pike. There's a small area in front of Salt & Straw we can gather, and begin the outing.

WHAT TO BRING

• Bring your fave digital or film camera
• Wide-angle lenses could be good to get a broader cityscape
• Tripods are recommended if you want to capture light trails
• Bring a rain cover, or plan for drizzle, just in case.
• Comfy walking shoes.

Open to all levels of photographer.
