3rd Friday Art Walk at Nook & Cranny

Join us every 3rd Friday from 5-8pm to meet the Nook & Cranny Artist-in-Residence! We’ll have snacks and a rotating roster of vendors rolling in for a mini makers market!

FEATURED ARTIST IN JUNE: Howie Bellido

Howie Bellido (he/him) spent his formative years in a fundamentalist cult rampant with physical and psychological abuse and conversion "therapy". After attaining his freedom, he went on to earn a bachelor's in Spanish Literature, became a professional ballet dancer, and a published writer, all of which motivated him to work with children as a teacher and librarian in order to ensure that teens and children feel respected, appreciated, and heard. Howie's work reflects much of the trauma of his youth, while contrasting with his deep understanding of fashion, his love of supermodels, his addiction to modernism, and his literary idols - Lorca and Orwell.
