This class for prenatal and postpartum moms is designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you're growing a baby, recovering from birth, or navigating the early days of new parenthood. Expect an active, grounding practice that builds real physical strength while making space for the breath and mindfulness tools that help you roll with the unexpected.
You'll gain...
-Strength and stability in the body for birth and early parenthood
-Breath and mindfulness practices to support labor, recovery, and the day-to-day of parenting
-Tools to reduce stress and cultivate a deeper connection with your changing body and your baby
-Confidence and intuition in your birth preparation and postpartum recovery -Connection with a community of moms at all different stages of the journey
Yoga's combination of movement, breath, and mindfulness makes it one of the most powerful tools available to you during the perinatal period — and this class is designed to help you tap into all of it.
Come as you are. All trimesters and postpartum moms welcome. No prior yoga experience necessary, just a willingness to show up for yourself and your baby. This is your space to feel supported, strong, and connected.
Meet your instructor, Marie Haller:
Marie found her way to yoga through dance classes in college and has maintained a regular practice going, across many different modalities of yoga, for the past 20+ years. While running her own birth doula business, she trained as a prenatal and postpartum yoga instructor, weaving that expertise into her work with pregnant and postpartum clients ever since.
Her classes focus on building the real physical strength you need for birth and new parenthood, while also making space for the breath and mindfulness practices that can help you navigate the wonderfully unpredictable ride that is pregnancy, birth, and parenting.
When she's not on the mat, Marie works as a Perinatal Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Coach through Prospera and in women's health at the nonprofit CARE.org, bringing a deep, holistic understanding of the perinatal experience to everything she does.
