Join us for this interactive session where we will dive deep and learn about how hormonal changes during this transition can impact your pelvic floor and what you can do to help yourself. You will leave this event confident and equipped with tools to help you maintain pelvic floor health.

What We’ll Cover:

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect strength, continence, pain, and overall well-being. In this workshop, we’ll discuss how pelvic health physical therapy can help you manage symptoms and feel confident in your body again. We will also discuss what genitourinary symptoms (genitourinary refers to anything related to the genital and urinary organs or their functions) of menopause can be and what you can do about them.

Designed specifically for perimenopausal and menopausal women, this session provides expert guidance on:

• Pelvic floor anatomy, activation and relaxation

• Bone & muscle health

• Breathing techniques and the importance of diaphragm

• Bladder urgency & leaking

• Vulvar & vaginal health

• Hormonal changes & Pelvic Floor

Our friends at Kondition Fitness are collaborating with Karine for this event and sending over their favorite pelvic floor pilates instructor to combine Karine's workshop with specific pelvic floor movement--so wear something easy to move in and non-restricting for the movement portion of the evening.
