A strong digital presence can help businesses build brand awareness, reach new customers, generate enquiries, and support sales, both locally and beyond their immediate location.

This workshop explores how online channels can be used in a practical and proportionate way to support growth.

It covers the role of online content creation, selling products via ecommerce platforms and using service-based selling approaches. It also includes a session on how to approach exporting as a growth option.

10:00 – 10:30: Arrival, registration and coffee

10:30 – 11:20 Session 1: Creating effective online content. Understand the importance of effective written, image-based, and video content, and gain insight into recommended approaches for content creation across websites and other online platforms.

11:20 – 11:30: Break

11:30 – 12:20 Session 2: Growing ecommerce sales. Explore how to assess product readiness for ecommerce, choose appropriate online sales channels, present clear product information, and consider fulfilment and customer approaches.

12:20 – 13:00: Networking lunch

13:00 – 13:50 Session 3: Expanding service sales online. Explore how online channels can be used to build awareness, generate enquiries, take bookings, deliver services, and support higher-value service sales.

13:50 – 14:00: Break

14:00 – 14:50 Session 4: Exporting and importing for growth. Explore exporting as a potential growth route and gain an understanding of the basic steps involved in reaching overseas customers. This session also covers how importing opportunities may support growth.

14:50 – 15:00: Summary, key takeaways and close

15:00 – 17:00: Optional networking and 1:1s
