About this Event

The Pathways to Belonging Sector Summit will bring together frontline staff, community organizations, and sector leaders from across the region to reflect, learn, and collaborate. This full-day gathering is designed to strengthen our collective impact in creating more welcoming and inclusive communities for newcomers.

The day will feature:

• An engaging keynote in the morning, where particpants will hear about the importance of human connection.
• Immigration Strategy update.
• A Hackathon activity, with space to connect across organizations, share successes, and identify ways to work together more effectively.
• The inaugral Welcoming Communities Awards will be presented at a networking mixer immiediately following the summit.

Together, we’ll celebrate the work already underway while also addressing the challenges and opportunities that shape newcomer belonging.
