About this Event

Kingston Health Sciences Centre's Stand Up to Stimga Initiative, in partnership with KHSC Mental Health & Addiction Care & the YGK Healthcare Champions, invites you to join us for a day of learning, reflection, and connection focused on suicide prevention, reducing stigma, and fostering hope.

The program will feature perspectives from diverse communities, discussions on healing after suicide loss, lived experience insights, bereavement support, and strategies for building resilient workplaces, schools, and communities.

A continental breakfast & lunch will be provided.

Proceeds from this event with go towards future Stand Up to Stigma events to raise awareness and educate about the impacts of mental health and addiction. These events allow us to continue to advocate and inform others about the barriers that stigma creates within our healthcare system for those affected by mental health and addiction.
