On August 15th, AAWRU will be holding Pan-African Women’s Day here in London, together with the AAPRP, the Women’s Union of Guinea-Bissau, Eritrea, Sankofa Rising, and other women & progressive communities.
PAWD is commemorated annually to honour the strength, resilience, and achievements of women of African descent, while providing motion for more progress.
We’ll be join by women organizers, leaders & revolutionaries from across the world. We’ll also be graced with soulful art & music from our sister lead lineup of @nayana and other amazing artists and cultural workers✨
