Having walked through Lent with an emphasis on doing life together, we now walk the road to the cross with a deeper sense of community. Holy Week is a participatory week with each other, in which our drawing near to the cross happens in the presence of one another. It is a week that starts high, and unpredictably ends low. Therefore, this week we praise, eat with, betray, and abandon Jesus together.
