It doesn’t matter if you love art, hate art or just plain don’t understand it–this hunt is for you! This event is about socializing, learning and having fun! It’s a unique way to spend a Sunday afternoon meeting dozens of other fun members and friends while experiencing some of the world’s most famous art!

Come alone or with a group! We’ll team you up then send you out through the halls of one of the world’s most famous museums looking for clues, exploring the artwork, answering questions and taking picture challenges. Along the way you will see artwork from Van Gogh, Monet, Dali, Matisse, Warhol, Pollack and more!

Here is how it works:

• Arrive at the check-in location and get set up on a team (if you don’t already have one).
• Once you have a complete team we will send you out to the museum to find all the clues.
• The groups will have 75 minutes to find as much as they can and return to the starting point.
• We will tally up the answers and announce the winners.
• After the winners have been announced you can hang with your new friends or go back and explore the museum.

What am I looking for at the museum? All the clues are things that are already at the museum. They are in the paintings, sculptures, gift shops, hallways, signs and the people that are there! Each team will have 75 minutes to find as many clues as possible. The teams with the most points will win prizes. Don’t worry if you didn’t answer all the items because there are bonus points.

Skill Level: NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. This is designed to be a fun event where you get to explore the museum.

If you are already a MoMA member $25. (You must get your ticket prior to check in on your own.)

What’s included?

– A unique & updated scavenger hunt of MoMA that highlights recent and classic exhibits
– Venue fee for registration and post hunt gathering

Can I come alone? YES! 95% of those attending will come on their own. If you come alone we will randomly set you up on a team.

What to wear: Be neat and casual.

Illness Protocols/Refunds

This event is nonrefundable unless canceled. If you have tested positive for Covid or are sick with any ailment that prohibits you from attending, we will do our best to provide you with credits for select future events with a copy of your positive test results or doctor’s note. Credits may or may not equal the cost of the event missed and may only be applied to events selected by NYSN.
