Painted Folk - Life Drawing

Welcome to Painted Folk - Life Drawing! Join us for a creative and relaxing evening of capturing the human form, hosted by Studio Zayä - a gorgeous tattoo and painting studio located in the central Laines.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is for anyone looking for artistic community in a warm and welcoming space. Don't miss a chance to get inspired and connect with fellow art and tattoo enthusiasts- grab your sketchbooks and lets get drawing.

We provide a limited selection of art supplies as well as paper and drawing boards, but please feel free to bring your own preferred materials. Our sessions are two hours of mixed poses from our professional model, with a short tea & chat break in the middle. Bring some friends and enjoy a lovely evening in an inspiring setting! We run regularly on the third Thursday of every month, so be sure to pop our upcoming dates in your calendar and start your own monthly creative ritual:

Info: Our doors will be open from 6:45 - We ask that you arrive a little early to get your materials and get settled so we can start our sessions on time. We do start promptly so if you are running late there will be a contact number posted outside so someone can let you in between poses.

Info: We tend to start our sessions with a mix of shorter poses to get warmed up, ranging from 3-10 mins

Info: We stop halfway for a little 15 min stretch break with tea, biscuits, and the occasional baked good included.

Info: We generally move into longer poses in the second half, usually ranging from 15-20 min, occasionally ending on some quick loose 1min poses to cool down before we say goodbye!
