In this intuitive art class, we'll be leaving our monkey minds at the door as we focus on creating our heartfelt Zen - in the shape of a mandala. Mandalas have been around for centuries. They are circles with shapes and patterns inside, which represent infinity, endless cycles, and movement.
You will be creating your own mandala by using colors, shapes, and patterns that really light you up. Everything is done step-by-step. A variety of paint, markers, shapes, and techniques will be available. Like gardening and/or vineyards? Why not incorporate a leaf, flower, or wine glass into your mandala. Let your mandala symbolize your likes, interests, and quirks.
As you draw circles, lines, and curves onto your board, each stroke is moving you closer to a more relaxed, calm, and empowered state of well-being. The tensions melts. Stress fades away, layer by layer. Mental and emotional clarity emerges. You may even receive answers or guidance about something that's been troubling you. All because you chose to take some time away from your busy schedule and focus on your needs on a Saturday afternoon.
