Page-Turners Young Writers Group: Junk Journaling
About this Event
Dive into the world of junk journaling and collage your own creation using magazines, comics and books discarded from the library’s shelves. Participants will try their hand (and scissors) at techniques including blackout poetry, found poetry and visual storytelling to craft a stunning journal to take home.
Page-Turners Young Writers Group is a regular program for writers aged 12-16. Every third Wednesday of the month, participants explore creative writing techniques on a particular theme and connect over a shared interest.
