HSC Workshop: The Craft of Writing
About this Event
English Advanced and Standard students will explore a range of reading and writing strategies to strengthen their writing skills.
Persuasive, discursive, reflective and imaginative writing forms will be discussed, with insights into how students can engage with their imaginative expression in relation to their prescribed texts.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Dianne Berios B.Ed. (Syd Uni) is an English teacher, private tutor and presenter. She has held permanent and temporary positions at a range of comprehensive and independent schools across NSW. She marked HSC examinations for 10 years across a variety of questions and now works as an external trial examination marker for some of Sydney's leading Catholic and independent schools.
Dianne runs Wordstudio Edit as a private tutor and specialises in Stage 6 studies. Students may also have seen her presenting on English modules and electives at the HSC & Careers Expo.
ABOUT THE VENUE:
MARRICKVILLE PAVILION AND LIBRARY is accessible by lift from both the street and ground levels. The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. There is a hearing loop available.
