About this Event
The Manasota Florida Young Birders Club is hosting a Guided Owl Walk where kids and teens can look for Barred owls, Screech owls, and Great Horned owls and learn all about them. It's a great opportunity to explore Lemon Bay Park in Englewood and meet peers with similar interests.
This walk will be led by local wildlife photographer David Schwab. David will share his tips and techniques that he has learned over the years to help you find owls.
Be sure to wear boots and pants, as we hike off the trails and into the woods where the owls like to hide. Bring your binoculars, camera, and bird guides. Some extra bird guides will be available.
This event is designed for kids and teens up to 17 years old and is open to both members and non members of the FYBC. Look in the FAQs if you'd like to become a member and keep up with future events.
The Manasota FYBC is supported by the Florida Young Birders Club and the Sarasota Audubon Society.
