Outdoor Yoga at Dahlia Hill
Enjoy outdoor yoga classes at Dahlia Hill throughout the summer on Mondays at 5:30-6:30pm from June through September (classes will continue as long as the weather allows). We meet on the north lawn for an all-levels yoga practice led by Sarah Nelson. The practice will vary in style from week to week, but will always be a slower-paced embodied exploration of mindful movement - sometimes with playful challenges, sometimes very relaxed, and often with soothing self-massage using therapy balls included. If you know and love her Yoga Remix or Forrest Yoga classes, these outdoor classes are right up your alley! However, no experience is necessary and options will be given to be as inclusive as possible.
Come early (or stay after) to mindfully meander the hill to watch the dahlias grow each week leading up to peak bloom season in Aug/Sept. Starting mid-July, you can also check out the art of Charles Breed in the Equiline Gallery before class (hours Mid-July thru mid-Oct: Mon-Sat 10am-5pm & Sun 1-4pm).
Please bring your own mat if you have one; you must let Sarah know if you will need to borrow one. Sunscreen (some shade is usually available though), water, and a towel/blanket for under your mat might be a good idea too!
