Our Tampines: Beyond Heartbeats

This National Day, Our Tampines Hub (OTH) invites residents and visitors to celebrate Singapore's 61st birthday through "Our Tampines: Beyond Heartbeats" - a three-day celebration that honours the people, stories and community spirit that make Tampines home. From 8 to 10 August 2026, OTH will come alive with performances, interactive activities, sports and wellness programmes, transforming the hub into a vibrant celebration created by the community, for the community.

Key highlights include:

1. National Day Observance Ceremony (9 Aug): Join Tampines GROs, community partners, and residents in commemorating Singapore's National Day at the annual National Day Observance Ceremony, celebrating unity, resilience, and national pride.
2. Our Tampines Hub: Beyond Heartbeats National Day Concert & Live Screening of National Day Parade (9 Aug): Celebrate Singapore's birthday at Town Square with an evening of performances by homegrown artistes and community performers, followed by a live screening of the National Day Parade and a spectacular fireworks finale. The concert will also pay tribute to seven "Tampines Giants" – everyday individuals whose contributions have helped shape the Tampines community.
3. Explore the Festive Walk East Activities (8-10 Aug): Families can look forward to a variety of immersive experiences across OTH, including a futuristic photo booth, MiniMe Racing, "Design Your Own Helmet", and commemorating the 60th anniversary of the National Pledge.
4. Sports & Wellness Programmes: Get active with sports clinics and community challenges, including a Soccer Clinic and Basketball Challenge for youths, alongside wellness workshops inspired by this year's National Day theme. Residents can also participate in a heritage-themed batik workshop that celebrates sustainability, creativity and inclusion.
5. Live Performances & Family Entertainment: Enjoy performances by local community groups and musicians throughout the weekend, alongside blockbuster movie screenings and family-friendly entertainment at Festive Plaza.
