Join us for a joyful afternoon of connection, nature, creativity and community as we gather to welcome the longest day of the year in beautiful Vincent Massey Park.
This relaxed outdoor gathering will include:
- Welcoming community circle
- Simple Summer Solstice-inspired rituals
- Creative art/journaling activity

- Conversation, laughter and new friendships
- Optional relaxed activities like badminton and games
Whether you are newly retired, reinventing yourself, widowed, divorced, empty nesting, new to Ottawa or simply craving more meaningful connection in this next chapter of life, you are warmly welcome here.
This event is hosted by Marlene Sadler, Founder of Ottawa Women 50+ — growing community for women building friendship, belonging and aliveness in what I like to call ACT III.
Please bring:
- a potluck contribution to share (6-8 servings)
- lawn chair or picnic blanket
- water bottle
- weather-appropriate clothing
- anything else that helps you feel comfortable outdoors
Come curious. Leave inspired.
Cheers,
