We invite you to come together in recognition of Orange Shirt Day, honoring the survivors of residential schools, their families, and those who never made it home. Letās stand together in the spirit of reconciliation and healing.
Schedule of Events:
11:00 AM ā Walk from VACPC to Grandview Park
12:00 PM ā Traditional Welcome and Prayer
12:15 PM ā Blessing and Serving of Lunch
12:30 PM ā Survivors Sharing
1:00 PM ā Cultural Performances
2:00 PM ā Live Performance by Electric Warriors
OSD Walk:
Meet at 10:00 AM at the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre (VACPC) ā 1719 Franklin Street. The walk will begin at 11:00 AM to Grandview Park, 1657 Charles Street at Commercial Drive.
This event is hosted in partnership with Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society, VACPC, Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, and more.
Wear your orange shirt and come show your support for this important day of remembrance and action.
