Founded in 2012 by violinist Ariel Clayton Karas, OPUS 216 has become a standout ensemble across northeast Ohio and beyond, appearing at prominent venues such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Progressive Field, Holden Arboretum and special events for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Trained at world-class conservatories, including the Cleveland Institute of Music, Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard, the musicians bring exceptional skill and energy to every performance.
Based in Cleveland, ensemble members regularly appear with the Chicago Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra and Atlanta Symphony.
