Herman’s Hermits, starring Peter Noone, brings their legendary 1960s sound back to the Hoover Auditorium stage, performing fan favorites like “I’m Into Something Good,” “There’s a Kind of Hush” and “I’m Henry VIII, I Am.”Peter Noone, a multi-talented entertainer from Manchester, England, has captivated sold-out audiences for nearly his entire life. At just 15, he rose to international fame as the lead singer of Herman’s Hermits. The band went on to sell more than 60 million recordings, earning 14 singles and seven albums certified gold.
Rivaling The Beatles, Herman’s Hermits was the top-selling pop act of 1965. That same year, the group received two Grammy Award nominations for “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter.”
In 1971, Noone launched a successful solo career spanning music, theater and television. His work includes composing and producing songs; starring in stage productions such as Pirates of Penzance and Aladdin; performing on Broadway; and appearing on television shows including "Married with Children," "Quantum Leap," "My Two Dads" and "Laverne & Shirley." He also voiced Adrian of the band Tiny Cowboy on the Disney Channel’s "Phineas & Ferb."
Reuniting with Herman’s Hermits in the early 2000s, Noone continues to tour with the band, drawing a devoted global fan base known as the “Noonatics." Noone remains a consummate showman, delivering timeless hits and his signature charm in an engaging performance for audiences of all ages.
