Meet every Wednesday evening in Manchester city centre to give and/or listen to laid-back short talks & discuss them and any associated ideas - it's meant to be a bit of fun, not overly serious. We meet on Albert Square at 18:30.
The purpose of these events is for people to meet other people who are also interested in debate, discussion and idea & knowledge sharing. The club is new, but the idea is people will give talks (2-30 minutes) and then people will be able to ask questions, add context, share additional information. A WhatsApp group can be joined by anyone who attends an event. We're likely to also likely to run social nights out.
Attendance is completely free and you may come and go as you please. If you know anyone that you think might be interested please feel free to bring/invite them.

Rules
- When discussing politics, you may not use "left-wing" or "right-wing"
- Talks should be given in good faith with the aim being to share ideas or knowledge
- Talks should not be given with the aim of convincing the audience of an opinion, though they may elucidate an opinion
- Talks must be between 2 and 20 minutes long
- The title of your talk, and an overview of the main points, must be supplied at least 2 days before (before Monday) it is given, and must be stuck to
- Talks must not be made to promote a commercial product or company
