ENGAGE Fund Celebration Event

You’re warmly invited to a celebration organised by Manchester Metropolitan University, bringing together everyone who has taken part in research with us in 2026.

Activities were supported by the ENGAGE Fund, enabling researchers and members of the public to work together to explore questions, learn from each other, and make a difference in our communities.

This spring and summer, 19 fantastic projects came to life thanks to the creativity and enthusiasm of everyone involved. Together, we tackled challenges, shared experiences, and found new ways to build research that has a real impact where it’s needed most. Now it’s time to celebrate all that has been accomplished and your role in making this work possible.

If you’ve been involved in a project, supported a friend or family member, or helped make these projects happen, we hope you’ll join us. The evening will include a presentation on the projects, displays to explore, along with plenty of food and refreshments. You’re welcome to take part in whatever way feels comfortable for you. Family, children and friends are very welcome; just let us know how many tickets you’ll need when you register so we can plan accordingly.

To thank you for your involvement and help cover travel costs, we'll provide vouchers to those involved in the project.

We can't wait to celebrate with you and shine a spotlight on the people, partnerships, and projects that made the ENGAGE Fund 2026 such a success.
