The subject of conflict resolution is vast; however, this training identifies generic core elements that individuals, irrespective of their role, will benefit from. It will give participants the opportunity to self reflect, understand some of the dynamics of conflict within relationships and support the overall aim of Cyrenians SCCR - to contribute to reducing the risk of youth homelessness through improving relationships and reducing family conflict.

Who is it for?

The session is aimed at practitioners. professionals or volunteers from any sector working with families, parents and young people and has been designed in such a way that it allows the participants to share their knowledge and experience with like-minded individuals. The delivery is informal and is a mix of presentation, discussion, activity and evaluation.

What does it cover?

The training session will allow participants to review and explore the following

• Relationships
• Interpersonal Conflict
• Conflict Responses
• Conflict Resolution Skills
• Resources and Techniques

What do we expect from you?

The cost of a session is significant therefore your commitment to attending, participating and contributing is a key requirement. As part of our funding criterion SCCR are required to measure the influence and impact of your participation on your own personal development and your work with families, parents and young people. This will be done through end of session short evaluation

What can you expect from us?

• SCCR will commit the dedicated resources to host and deliver the session.
• It will be delivered in a safe, informal environment conducive to the learning, to encourage as much shared learning, reflection and group discussion as possible.
• Networking with liked minded individuals and peer learning,
• The trianing free of charge at point of access
• Certificate of attendance, if requested
