🧭 Expedition Overview
Join us in the South Downs for an Open Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Expedition, suitable for participants completing either their Practice Expedition or their Assessment Expedition.
This Open expedition is ideal for participants whose school cannot offer a programme, those needing an alternative date or location, or individuals joining independently and looking for a well-supported, professionally run expedition.
The South Downs provide excellent, accessible terrain for developing confidence, navigation, and expedition skills at Bronze level.
🎒 What’s Included
• Experienced, DofE-accredited expedition staff and assessors
• Full Bronze expedition supervision (practice or assessment as appropriate)
• Route planning support on the expedition
• Instructor-led navigation skills input for Practice participants
• Campsite fees
• Group equipment (tents, stoves, maps, group shelter, GPS tracker)
• Emergency support and monitoring
• Assessor report submitted to eDofE for Assessment participants
