In this fun art project, students will create a heart-themed design that tricks the eye using the element of space. They will learn to arrange shapes, colors, and patterns in a way that makes the heart appear three-dimensional or pop out from the background. By playing with the distance between objects and using overlapping designs, students will explore how space can affect how we see things. This creative activity will help them understand the powerful role of space in art while expressing their unique style!Teaching Artist: Heather Whitten
Cost: $10 per student
Materials: Cardstock paper, pencil, eraser, ruler, & markers.
