What is the 2S/Trans ID Peer Support Program?
(from Sunshine House's website):
The 2S/Trans ID Peer Support program at Sunshine House was created to remove barriers faced by anyone trying to update their IDs to reflect their gender identity and/or chosen name.
While there are a number of places now that help fill out vital stats application forms, many people need additional assistance covering fees, connecting to a medical practitioner, replacing documents or just navigating an intimidating process.
We also offer advocacy on behalf of participants at vital stats when necessary, whether or not they applied through Sunshine House.
“Removing barriers” means being as much or as little involved in the process as someone wishes, and we meet one-on-one instead of doing group ID clinics to tailor support to the individual.

What is the Snowy Owl Monarchist Society?
(From the SOMS website):
The Imperial And Sovereign Court of Winnipeg and all of Manitoba, more commonly know as the SOMS, is a local chapter of the International Court System and was established in 1997 with the beginning of our 1st Baronial Reign. We are a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization that raises money for charities throughout Manitoba.
Over the last 25 years, we have donated more than $150,000 to organizations that directly impact the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, and queer communities (2SLGBTTQ*).
