Our community-wide reading program is back. Join us for One Book, One Buncombe as we read Happy Land by author and historian Dolen Perkins-Valdez, a novel set in Western North Carolina that explores land, memory, resilience, and local history.
Read the book, join a discussion at your local library, or attend the free author event on May 16 at 2 p.m. at Ferguson Auditorium. Copies of the book are available at Buncombe County libraries while supplies last.
