How many times have you struggled with sleep, disturbed by nightmares or struggled to remember dreams? How many times have you met people you support in therapy feeling helpless and unable to overcome this challenge? Would you like to explore creative ways to support yourself or others in a therapeutic way, empowering them to be more involved in their own personal process? Then, this workshop is the right space for you where you can learn new skills and techniques to deal with these challenges or processes. What To Expect From This Workshop
This Workshop:
- Is aimed at people who would like to explore effective ways of processing their dreams.
- Is aimed at professionals like social workers, medical practitioners, psychologists, psychotherapists, educators and other professionals working in the social field and helping profession and support persons who may require this type of support.
- Is aimed at parents whose children struggle with sleep or difficult dreams.
- Includes information and techniques related to maintaining proper sleep hygiene.
- Includes information about dreams, how they happen, why they occur to us and why they are useful and an important resource to our personal process and self-awareness.
- Includes creative and therapeutic ways of expressing and processing dreams. These can be used with people we support through our profession, or on a personal level, or with children we parent.
- Will offer you the opporunity to explore your personal dream/s in a creative therapeutic way.
- Will offer you the opportunity to work individually with the workshop facilitator and support of the group, as well as in pairs.
- Empowers you to process your dreams in a powerful, therapeutic and healing way.
About The Workshop Facilitator:
This workshop will be facilitated by Sam Fenech who has been practicing in the helping and caring profession since 2005. Sam is a social worker by profession and graduated from Roehampton University in London with an MA in Dramatherapy in 2010. He is a warranted social worker and psychotherapist and an HCPC Registered Dramatherapist in the UK.
He has extensive experience of therapeutic work with children, adolescents and their families, many of whom have been through severe trauma and/or severe struggles in their lives. Sam has completed training in Systemic and Family Constellations in recent years, including training about The Orders of Love and The Orders of Helping and has incorporated these therapeutic approaches into his practice.
He has also set up and managed a Children's Home for children who have been through severe trauma, for over ten years, and is currently the Head of a Psychosocial Team in a Youth Therapeutic Unit.

You will receive an email about how you can effect payment to secure your place on this workshop.
Workshop Fee - 100 Euro or 80 Euro per person if you book as a group of 4.
When workshop is full, interested persons will be put on a waiting list and offered a space in case any one of the participants on the workshop drop their application. There is obviously no fee for interested persons who are put on a waiting list until they are offered a secure place on the workshop. Workshop fees are non-refundable unless the workshop facilitator cancels the event in rare circumstances.
You will receive a CPD certificate (7 hours) of participation and attendance at the end of the workshop. The workshop includes Tea and Coffee breaks.
