Onam Sadhya is the traditional multi-course vegetarian meal served on the festive occasion. Onam is a major annual event for Keralite people in and outside Kerala. Our walk will end at Hotel Swagath where we will treat you to Onam Sadhya.
Come and explore the South Indian community in south Kolkata. The South Indians have made Kolkata their home since the colonial times, who have been coming here in search of jobs. These areas have therefore witnessed a confluence of cultures of the Tamilians, Malayalams, Telegus & Kannadis who are from the southern part of India.
Stories of great Indians from the south who had made Bengal their home will unfold when we walk down the areas of the South Indians in Kolkata. And how can you miss the Udupi coffee in between our walk!
This is a curated walking tour from Kolkata Explorers. The tour will be led by Avijit Dhar Chowdhury.
CHARGES Rs 2550 /- per person, including Onam Sadhya (a dinner spread) and a short ride by Cab/Auto (once).
