Olivia James is an award-winning jazz vocalist and songwriting student at the Tacoma School of arts. Winner of the 2025 Seattle-Kobe Female Jazz Vocalist Audition (High School Division), she brings a fresh, soulful approach to jazz standards, blending strong musicianship with captivating stage presence. Olivia has performed internationally in Kobe, Japan; and she draws on her background in dance to deliver engaging performances that connect with audiences of all ages.
Olivia will be playing with South Sound Express. The band includes Cliff Colon, Osama Afifi, Eugene Bien and Craig Cootsona.
