FREE Concert at Capital City Pride

Bring your sunglasses and your Pride.
Olympia Symphony proudly returns to Capital City Pride with BELIEVE, a free, family-friendly outdoor performance at Port Plaza. Led by Music Director Alexandra Arrieche, this one-hour concert brings together classical beauty, summer energy, and a little diva sparkle for an afternoon of music in community.
The program begins with Saint-Saëns’ The Swan, a tender cello melody that seems to glide across the water, and Gluck’s Dance of the Blessed Spirits, a serene moment for flute and piano.
Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings brings warmth and sweep, while Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 5 adds rhythm, movement, and fire.
Then the orchestra turns up the Pride celebration with Molly Turner’s Divas!, an orchestra-only medley with music from Queer icons including Cher, Chappell Roan, Donna Summer, Lady Gaga, and more. The program also includes a brand-new medley by Em Westman, bringing fresh energy to this year’s Pride stage.
Whether you come for the classics, the diva moments, or the joy of being together, BELIEVE is your invitation to settle in, celebrate, and let the music carry the afternoon.
Bring a chair, sunglasses, a cold drink, and join Olympia Symphony for an hour of music in the sun.
