Signing copies of his new picture book, I’m Very Busy.
About this Event

Come along and meet visual artist and bestselling author Oliver Jeffers as he joins us to sign copies of his new picture book, I’m Very Busy – a poignant – and laugh-out-loud funny – story about what happens when we are so busy, we sometimes forget the things – and people—that matter most.

Book a ticket in advance to secure a place in the queue and a copy of I’m Very Busy.

Ticket Price: £14.99, includes entry and a copy of I’m Very Busy (RRP £14.99) available for collection on the day. Copies of I’m Very Busy will also be available to purchase from the bookshop on the day, along with a selection of Oliver’s other bestselling books. Parents accompanying their children do not require a ticket (one accompanying adult per child with ticket.)

Oliver Jeffers was discovered in a pile of unsolicited manuscripts, How to Catch a Star was the first in a series of critically acclaimed books featuring boy and the penguin, comprising Lost and Found, The Way Back Home, Up and Down and Where to Hide a Star. Since then, Oliver Jeffers has become a worldwide phenomenon and a genre-busting creative force in the world of children’s books. The boy and the penguin books have sold over 1.2 million copies in the UK alone, with overall sales of Oliver’s publishing now exceeding 18 million copies worldwide and translations in forty-nine languages. Beyond making books for children, he has exhibited in museums and galleries such as the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. He also recently received a Member of the Order of the British Empire Award (MBE) for his Services in Art. For more information on Oliver Jeffers go to OliverJeffers.com or follow him on Instagram @OliverJeffers.
