Old Government Buildings attic tour

Join our expert guide for a tour around the attic at Wellington's iconic Old Government Buildings.

You'll see some fascinating (and sometimes scandalous) historic graffiti, explore the old attic filing room, and view Old Government Buildings' clock, still wound every week by hand, from the inside.

Numbers are limited to ensure everyone enjoys themselves, so booking ahead ensures your place.

Please note that this tour requires you to step over struts and at times slip through tight spaces, therefore a reasonable standard of agility and fitness is required, along with appropriate clothing for a dusty attic.

Please meet your guide at the main entrance on Lambton Quay 10 minutes prior to your tour time.
