Old Brunswick County Jail Tours

The Southport Historical Society will once again offer tours of the Old Brunswick County Jail on Saturday, December 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the historic jail, beautifully decorated for the holiday season, and discover one of Southport's most fascinating landmarks. Built in 1904, when Southport served as the Brunswick County seat, the jail stands at the corner of Nash and Rhett Streets and offers a glimpse into the community's past. Tours are free, although donations to help preserve and maintain the jail are appreciated.
