Learn or continue building your oil painting skills at The Suffolk Center.
Oil Painting is designed for beginners, intermediate students, and independent painters looking for dedicated studio time. Each class includes an optional lesson or exercise, giving students the chance to receive instruction while also working at their own pace.
Paints and supplies are available for new students who would like to try oil painting. Students should bring their own canvas.
This class is taught by Beth Blanchard, a studio, still life, and plein air artist. Oil Painting is also a prerequisite for joining Oil Painting: Advanced Studio.

Thursdays, September 17 through October 22, 2026
Time: 6 PM to 8:30 PM
Duration: 6 weeks
Location: Art Studio A
Ages: 16 to Adult

Cost: $115
Registration is required and closes one week before the class begins. Space is limited, and classes are subject to participation minimums.
