Off Loom Bead Weaving: The CARMELLA SIPRANO Necklace

Students will learn off-loom bead weaving through the vertical netting technique, which allows participants to create a striking mesh collar inspired by one famously worn in the popular HBO series The Sopranos. While the original design incorporated platinum, this version is equally beautiful and instead utilizes seed beads. Students will learn how to weave mesh without graphs, resulting in a piece that is straightforward to construct yet technical in appearance. This class is well-suited for both beginners and experienced beaders. Kits include all beads required to complete the collar, along with stringing materials and clasps. Larger beads will also be available for those who prefer them.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness.
