Introduction to Glass Fusing: Platters & Coasters

In this introductory course, learn the fundamentals of creating kiln-formed fused glass! The class will cover the techniques required to make fused glass panels/plates and coasters. Learn hands-on as you are guided through each step of fusing glass: designing a panel/plate, choosing glass, cutting glass shapes, and adding accessory glass.

Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets into the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services, Pamela Weichmann. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
