Philadelphia Department of Commerce, Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) presents “Doing Business in the City” (DBITC) virtual workshop series. The goals of each event are to:

Explore opportunities to build your business with City contracts.

Develop a strategy for pursuing competitive and non-competitive bids.

Learn about resources available to support your business.

The City of Philadelphia’s Procurement Department and Chief Administrative Office will provide information to vendors on how to reply to RFPs and BIDs correctly to conduct business with the City of Philadelphia. Their presentations will be followed by a new guest speaker each month providing educational material on how to operate a business. DBITC will occur January through June and September through November on the 3rd Wednesday of the months mentioned.
