Vesak Program Schedule
Morning Program:
6:45 am : Dayakas Arrival and Preparation
7.00 am : Sil Observance
7.15 am : Kiripidu Puja with Buddha Puja
7:30 am : Heel Dana (breakfast for monks & sil observers) (Please see the sign-up sheet above).
9:00 am : Dhamma sermon
10:00 am : Meditation
11:00 am : Buddha Puja (lunch offerings to the Buddha)
11:30 am : Lunch Dana (for monks & sil observers) (Please see the sign-up sheet above).
12:00 pm : Lunch for members & visitors
1:00 pm : Dharma sermon
2:00 pm : Pirith chanting
2:30 pm : Atasil Pawarana (conclusion of observance of the 8 precepts)
Children's Program:
10.00 am - 12:00 pm - Sil observance for children of all ages
Evening Program:
5.30 pm : Vesak Sambuddha pooja (special Vesak evening homage to the Buddha)
6.00 pm : Kids Vesak parade (Please see the sign-up sheet above).
6.30 pm : Vesak Bakthi Gee (devotional songs)
