About this Event
Join our NOURISHed cookery course for adults living, learning or working in West London.
In each session, you will discover the impact our food waste has on the planet while learning simple and effective cookery skills. While classes are aimed at beginners or improvers, we welcome all levels onto this cookery course.
You will be working at state of the art cookery stations, with all ingredients and equipment provided. Throughout each session, we will focus on a topic of food waste or nutrition whilst working step-by-step to create a new dish. The session will end with the group sitting down to eat together, with any leftovers packaged up for you to take home to enjoy with friends and family.
At the end of the five weeks you will have:
- Learned to avoid unnecessary food waste to reduce your impact on the environment
- Extended your cookery skills
- Developed healthy eating knowledge
Who can take part?
Adults 18+ who are beginner cooks, residents of West London with priority given to residents local to the Nourish Hub.
