About this Event

"One of the best farmers' markets in London" - Time Out

Come to the market to find delicious seasonal fruit and vegetables grown on organic farms close to London, plus raw milk, meat, sustainable fresh and smoked seafish, mushrooms, bread, cakes, handmade chocolates, Turkish and Caribbean street food, kombucha, kimchi, jams, local honey and excellent coffee.

Live in a climate-friendly way - all the farmers at the market are either organic or biodynamic, which is much better for nature and the planet. And the stallholders making processed foods use organic ingredients.

Cut wasteful packaging - Most fruit and veg at the market is sold unpackaged.

Know who produces your food - meat the people that grew, reared or produced it.

Pay fair prices - the farmers at the market charge a fair price for their produce and pay fair wages to the people who work for them. The market also accepts Healthy Start vouchers.

Help create jobs in Hackney - try hand-made foods made by producers from around Hackney.

Eat with the seasons - Discover produce you've never eaten before. There won’t be apples in May or tomatoes in December but, when they are in season, you can choose from many different varieties.
