Northern Virginia Tea & Social Club: November Social

One night was never the plan.

The Northern Virginia Tea & Social Club is back for our second gathering. Another relaxed evening at Crest Hill Tea Room for people who'd like to get out of the house, meet someone new, and spend a couple of hours actually enjoying the people around them.

Just a cozy place to sit down, order something good, and see who you end up talking to.

Whether you came to our first gathering in October or this will be your first time walking through the door, you're equally welcome.

This month's gathering is all about an easy November evening of conversation, drinks, and good food.

Grab a seat, join a table, reconnect with someone you met last month, or introduce yourself to someone completely new.

We'll have a few complimentary appetizers circulating during the beginning of the evening, with food and beverages available to order throughout the night.

• Premium loose-leaf teas
• Wine
• Mimosas
• Artisanal coffee
• Pastries and sweets
• Finger sandwiches and savory bites

There is no admission charge and no required purchase to attend.

You do not need to have attended our first event to join us.

The club is designed so that new people can walk in every month without feeling like they've somehow missed the beginning.

And if you're coming alone?

You'll have plenty of company.

One of the biggest reasons this club exists is to create a place where showing up by yourself doesn't feel strange.

You already know something about every person in the room: they came because they were open to meeting someone new too.

The point isn't to meet 30 people once and never see them again. We want this to become the kind of local gathering where familiar faces start appearing, conversations pick back up, and acquaintances have a chance to turn into actual friendships.

Bring someone you met last time.

Come see who else shows up.

Or come alone again and meet somebody completely different.

The Northern Virginia Tea & Social Club is for adults looking for more real-life connection and more opportunities to meet people locally.

Singles and couples are welcome. So are longtime Northern Virginia residents, newcomers, introverts, extroverts, tea lovers, wine drinkers, and anyone whose social calendar could use a few more actual people in it.

This is a welcoming, inclusive community.
