Every Friday at 9PM, 25 people gather inside a hidden room at Root City Kava Bar for a secret stand-up show featuring killer comics from Baltimore, DC, NYC, and beyond.

The lineup changes every week and isn't announced in advance. Some weeks it's rising local talent. Some weeks it's touring comics. Some weeks it's comics you weren't expecting to see in a room this small.

No bad seats. No giant crowds. No watered-down club experience.

Just a packed room, a secret lineup, and stand-up comedy the way it's supposed to be.

Root City serves kava instead of alcohol, creating a social atmosphere that's unlike anything else in Baltimore. Never tried kava before? This is the place.

Only 25 seats are available each week, and once they're gone, they're gone.
