NIA at Westfield Athenaeum

This one-hour NIA class is a gentle, joyful, full-body movement experience that blends dance, martial arts, and mindfulness practices to support strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness. Set to inspiring music, the class guides participants through expressive movement sequences that emphasize sensation, alignment, and ease rather than forcing or pushing the body. Movements can be adapted for different levels, making the practice accessible while still offering opportunities to challenge coordination, agility, and cardiovascular endurance.
